Summary

Treasure1.png

Chests are available in 5 different rarities. You can use the Wheels of Fate and open Chests at Kismets well.

Kismets Well can be accessed either by right clicking on a chest, Booster Pack or Primal Pack in your Inventorystash.png or by going to the Store and clicking the 'Open Pack' option.

Identifying a Chest

The color of the chest determines the rarity.

Common = White

Uncommon = Green

Rare = Blue

Legendary = Red

Primal = Gold

A chest can also be identified by it's spin type when looking at the inventory manager. (All information is also available in the well of kismet as text)

No icon over the chest = No Spin

3 White star icons = Paid Spin

3 Gold star icons = Free Spin

Obtaining a Treasure Chest

Each Booster Pack a player opens including those used in limited Tournaments contain one Treasure Chest of a random rarity of either common, uncommon, rare or legendary.

Each Primal Pack a player opens will contain a legendary chest.

Throughout the Account Leveling system you will obtain some Free Spin common, Free Spin uncommon and Paid Spin rare chests.

Players on PS4 CANNOT get Chests and instead get 4000 gold when they open a Booster Pack or Primal Pack.

Obtaining a Primal Chest

Unlike the other 4 rarities a primal chest cannot be opened from packs. In order to get a Primal Chest you need to use the Wheels of Fate to upgrade either a Rare by getting a double upgrade or a Legendary Chest by getting a single or double upgrade. While a Legendary Chest costs more to spin than a Rare Chest it works out cheaper to spin Legendary Chests due to only a single upgrade being necessary.

Opening Chests

The ability to open chests was introduced with the Set 3: Armies of Myth patch on 21st July 2015. The rarity of a chest affects what can be dropped. A chest can be opened before spinning on the Wheels of Fate but you will forfeit the ability to use that chest with the Wheels of Fate. A chest can still be opened after doing the Wheels of Fate.

Common, Uncommon and Rare Chests reward 1 item when you open them, Legendary Chests reward 2 items and Primal Chests reward 3 items.
